Earth Day Alternative Energy Conference & Expo 2010

April 21-22, 2010—Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Normally a one-day event, this conference will span two days this year and cover a variety of clean energy topics.  The first day is presented by the LSU Center for Energy Studies, titled "Greening an Enterprise Economy."  The second day includes panel discussion and an overview of alternative transporation fuels, infrastructure and policy; followed by an energy expo.  The public is welcome to attend the expo free of charge, and the Baton Rouge Clean Cities Coalition is still accepting Vendor Registration Forms.

EPAct Alternative Fuel Infastructure Workshops

Throughout 2010—San Diego, Puget Sound, Chicago, Massachusetts, San Francisco
The Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct 1992) established several transportation-related regulatory programs including the requirement of certain governmental and fuel provider fleets to acquire alternative fuel vehicles or reduce petroleum use.  These one-day EPAct workshops present EPAct regulations and discuss the challenges and opportuniteis for implemention.  Participants from all sectors are welcome including from government agencies, fuel providers, nonprofits, universities, airports, the military, school districts, and private companies.
