Mission and Focus

The Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership (SLCFP) is made up of local and state government agencies, private companies, non-profit organizations, and interested individuals who work to improve the region's environmental and public health, energy security and economic development opportunities by promoting policies and practices that reduce petroleum consumption in transportation. The Partnership's initiatives focus on:

      • cleaner fuels
      • alternative vehicles
      • legislative and tax incentives
      • fuel economy
      • idle reduction
SLCFP is part of a network of more than 80 communities within the US Department of Energy's (DOE's) Clean Cities Program. The Partnership provides education, technical assistance, access to grant funds and other services to assist in the implementation of the Partnership's initiatives. Please explore this website to learn about Partnership, its initiatives, membership and more.
